work / the proposition nobody could explain
A business with all the pipes, and no story to sell them with.
THG Ingenuity had everything a retail media network needs — owned brands, first-party data, fulfilment, checkout — and no clear articulation of what it was selling or why anyone should buy it. I came in to fix that. A hard diagnosis of where the revenue actually came from, a packaged and repeatable set of products, and an executive narrative sharp enough to land in the boardroom. Not a media agency, not a marketplace — a commerce-native media platform, finally described in a way brands, agencies and the exec team could all understand.
The other kind of messy: a category that didn't exist yet. Or get in touch.
